Tree Planting

We joined Forêt Capitale Forest for an afternoon of tree planting and creating tiny forest demonstration plots! Their wonderful team gave us a tour of the site and how they implement the Miyawaki Method to cut down on time it takes to grow a forest. At the end of the day, we attended the market held by Shelly, the leader of Forêt Capitale Forest, who produces exceptional canned goods from her own garden. Many of us went home with jars of assorted jellies, spicy salsa and pickles.
